How We Can Support You
At Wirral Women and Children’s Aid, we understand that experiencing domestic abuse can be deeply traumatic. Our services are designed to help you feel safe, supported, and empowered as you rebuild your life.

Children’s Support
We offer specialist support for children affected by domestic abuse. Helping them feel safe, heard and supported.

Safety Planning
Everyone in an abusive relationship should have a safety plan. We can help you create a personalised plan to reduce risk and keep you as safe as possible.

Emotional Support
Our trained team provides compassionate and confidential support to help you process your experiences.

Refuge Accessibility
Our refuge is designed to be inclusive and accessible for all women; including those with disabilities, language or cultural needs.

Practical Assistance
We offer help with housing, finances, benefits, legal issues and daily needs to ease stress during and after domestic abuse.

Outreach
If you’re not ready or able to come to the refuge, our outreach team can support you safely within your own community.

Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme
This scheme lets you ask police if your partner has a history of abuse. Helping you make informed, safer decisions.

Other Sources of Help
We work closely with trusted organisations and can connect you with additional support services based on your needs and circumstances.
